Donations of food, clothes and household items are welcome. Please NO furniture, cribs, TVs, car seats, or large toys.
SWES also has a Thrift Shop open to all.

Southwest Emergency Services (SWES) is a Christian-based organization in Arbutus, Maryland that provides the following:
Perishable and non-perishable food
Household supplies and school supplies
Infant/toddler items
Clothing for children and adults
Financial Assistance providing help with preventing eviction, BGE turn-offs, water turn-offs.*
* To qualify for financial assistance, the individual needs to live in zip 21227 or in 21229 (Baltimore County) on the Arbutus side of Wilkins Ave.
Alternatively, the individual can belong to one of the member churches that sponsor SWES. See the list
here.
Regardless of address, no one requesting food on a one-time basis will be turned away.
